ANTIQUE AQUA GLASS JAM JAR - T.W. Beach, Fruit Grower A large early 20th century aqua glass jam jar, embossed around the shoulder 'T.W. Beach, Fruit Grower'. Victorian Thomas William Beach grew his own fruit to manufacture his own jam, & became a recognised authority on jam making. Embossed on the base 'C .S. & Co' which are the initials for Cannington, Shaw & Co the bottle makers. The jar does not have a lid. Would look stunning as a vase, or in a group with other old bottles & jars. Made from heavy, thick glass. The rim is moulded & hand finished.
