This Wisconsin Christmas ornament was crafted from reclaimed graffiti paint, mounted on an angle cut birch slice. This refined street art ornament is reminiscent of Fordite, or Detroit Agate. The marbled pattern resembles the natural banding of agate or stone, but this unique pattern has been revealed under hundreds of layers of paint from muralists & graffiti artists. Using lapidary techniques, we cut, shape, & polish the graffiti material, which is then preserved under a clear, high gloss topcoat.
