Created in Western Turkey, antique Oushak (or Ushak) rugs are known for their distinct features such as an angular large-scale floral design. Oushak rugs are wool, cotton, silk, & even metal threads. The foundation of Oushak carpets is cotton while the pile is made of wool. Composit of this rug is wool & cotton. Approximetly 70% wool, 30% cotton, Low Pile Care: please only dry clean at your home. If you need to wash the rug, please seek help from a professional rug cleaning company. The dyes in these rugs are extraordinarily unique & will add a flair of design to your home. This rug is made using organic wool, their beautiful colours come from the vegetable dye used by Anatolian women. The Anatolian women hand-weaved their love into each piece. While the women were weaving their rugs they designed the patterns to express their feelings at the time. Each rug is uniquely stamped with their sentiments of happiness & sadness... You can use this rug in the bedroom, kid room, nursery room, livingroom, diningroom & under diningroom table & outdoor of your home. You dont need any rugpad but if you want you can purchase a non-slip thin rug pad. I never edit the pictures. I upload the original photos to show you the real & natural colors. You can be sure you will receive exactly the same rug as in the photos & can be sure you will love it when you see it. There may be slight color differences due to screen resolution or camera.
