Such an appealing & attractive decorative plate, by Royal Doulton, in their Brambly Hedge collection! This collectible plate features Crabapple Cottage, one in a series of plates featuring the homes of the mice of Brambly Hedge. It would be a perfect addition to any collection, or would make a lovely gift for a Christening or birthday. The plate is finished in a highly polished, shiny white glaze. It shows Mrs Apple, by a cosy fireside, stringing crabapples to roast over the fire. The charming cottage scene is in fine detail, & true to the original book illustrations. The edge of the plate has the Crabapple Cottage banner & a border of crabapples, on a pale green background. This decorative plate is in very good condition.
