These small stoneware bowls have been hand formed from a small ball of clay. They are gradually pinched & pulled into a very natural & organic shape & have been given a coloured glaze on the interior, leaving the clay on the outside of the bowl bare. These little bowls are beautifully delicate & would work perfectly either as a set or as a single, decorative bowl for jewellery or tealights. They could also be used as prep or dip bowls. PLEASE NOTE that these are not 'perfect', factory formed items & they each have their own unique charm! Each soap dish is individually formed by hand without the use of a potter's wheel or mould & they will each have their own unique character, shape, imperfections & glaze finish. All my pieces are stoneware pottery & glazed in food safe glazes. As with any hand built item there will be some variation in size between pieces, which is part of their charm, so all dimensions are as accurate as possible. As I am a small producer I am only able to make items in small batches, which means that on some occasions orders for multiple items will require making time. Every item I make is carefully shaped & built by hand without a potter's wheel & will need to dry for anywhere between one to three weeks before being fired twice up to 1225 degrees.
