Handmade Quilted Advent Calendar. Countdown to Christmas! Celebrate December with this whimsical woodlands wall hanging. You add 25 small gifts to work your way through December. This calendar is reusable year after year. Add a small gift or sweet to celebrate December. This was the design for 2020 & I just found a bit more of the fabric. The line is Dashwood Studio from England. It has a modern feel to it in color & design. The colours are a bit modern with aqua,red, pink & green apple. It has a red border & the edging is my favourite stripey binding. It's really whimsical. I only use 100% designer cotton fabrics. The piece is professionally quilted with my longarm machine & hand bound. The piece measures 18 x 22 The pockets are 3 ... perfect size for a Peppa Pig miniature, a piece of chocolate or other sweet gifts you find while counting down the days to Christmas. I added hanging pockets to the back. Just add a small rod or dowel to hang it on your wall with ease & re-use year after year. There are others selling similar products on Etsy. My calendar is a bit different as I use stabilizer in the pockets to make them stand stiffer & a double batting to give the piece some extra body so it lasts year after year!
