We are a Reforestation Project & a Furniture Maker. We combine renewable hardwoods, artisanal technique & modern design to create beautiful, handcrafted, solid wood furniture built for generations. We pledge to plant 100 tress for every piece we sell. in 2007 we started planting trees on previously clear cut land in Nicaragua. To date, we've planted over 850,000 trees on over 1200 acres of land. All of the tropical hardwoods we use is either sustainably harvested from our tree plantations, or recovered from areas damaged by hurricanes. The handwoven seat & back is remarkably firm, comfortable, & sturdy. This chair is a stylish yet casual statement piece, great for any room, & amazingly comfortable.
