Description
This black stoneware vase was wheelthrown & woodfired to 1350 degrees Celsius (2462 degrees Fahrenheit) for almost 161 hours in anagama type kiln. No glaze has been used the surface was colored by kiln atmosphere. Orange marks were made by artistically applied wadding (a special separation layer the vase was fired on). These effects are unique to each firing. This vase would make a stylish statement by itself but it also could be used for flowers. Measurements: high is 41.5 cm (16 3/8 inches) diameter is 21 cm (8 1/4 inch) weight is 4400 g (9.7 lb) Shipping: I ship internationally from the Czech Republic.
