Handcrafted in the USA! This vase was turned from a piece of Spalted Maple wood from a local tree. The intricate lines, colors & patterns in this wood are caused by different fungi working to slowly break down the wood as it decays in nature (spalting). Once dry, this process is halted, leaving a very beautiful, distinctive & highly sought-after, piece of wood. This vase is polished with a Carnuba Wax. While this piece is a vase form, it should not be used to hold water. This product is handmade - please allow slight variations due to the handmade nature of the product. The little imperfections in the wood are characteristic of the hand crafted nature of each piece. Dimensions: approximately 13.5 tall x6 diameter.
