Where do we start with this stunning piece of mid century furniture? This is a beautiful, quality & highly functional mid century bureau designed by Egon Ostergaard for Svensk Mobel Industrie. With a wonderfully grained roll top & plenty of useful storage this would be a fabulous addition to any living room, bedroom or home office. We think this unit would work especially well for home workers who like to hide away their office when not working! Given it's 60 years of age it is in very good condition. There is some nibbling along the inside edge of the top draw which can only be seen when the drawer is open. This piece has been gently refurbished with danish oil & wax to bring it back to its best. We are secretly hoping this unit doesn't sell too quickly so we can carry on admiring its beauty for a little while longer...
