Yellow Formica Kitchen Vintage Dining Table 1960s Vintage Kitsch Old Mid Century yellow Formica Dining table, in nice but faded condition. It has a gorgeous pattern, which has areas of ware, but we think this adds to its charm. No major chips but it does have light scratches. We have lightly restored to it make perfect for home use, so all the wood is fresh & clean with a newly oiled finish. The table would also make a great dinky desk for home office. You will notice some rectangular purpose cut holes on the underside, these are where some supports were, this table would have originally had extending leaves, they are not missed & the table works well. The Dimensions are: Length:910mm x Depth:505mm x Height:755mm Our Restoration Process All of our tables are restored, we ensure everything works as it should. Sometimes the springs don't work or the Formica has lifted. So we ensure everything is as good as it can be & take time to clean up hinges & handles. The wooden frames after many years of use have often been left in a bit of a grimy & dirty state. We take off all the dirt & original finish, applying a new finish. The result, you are essentially getting a lovely original piece but in an as new condition. The original varnished finish that these tables often have is also a little bit dated in my opinion & hides the beautiful wood grain, so we don't apply a varnish. The finish we apply protects & keeps the wood replenished. The Formica tops themselves can't be restored, so these may have signs of age, light scratches or minor chips unless otherwise stated.
