1960s Meredew sideboard. 6 drawers of which the lower two are a deeper size. Solid sculpted lozenge shaped pulls, contrasting solid turned afromosia legs. Made in UK. The sideboard is in fantastic original condition with minor signs of wear commensurate with age. It had been carefully prepared before updating. This chest of drawers went through stages of sanding & cleaning in between to make sure I will achieve desired smooth finish. Stained using English Walnut. The piece also has been protected with ultra hard satin varnish highly durable & resistant to scuffs, scratches & abrasion. Resistant to heat, water, alcohol, chemical usage & stains. Stunning piece that immediately adds mid century elegance to any room.
