This lovely red "Snowstorm" design Harris Tweed is made up of a vibrant red background with a white fleck effect running through the tweed & would make a gorgeous addition to your Christmas decor this year! The smaller lampshades, either drum or oval would make a great shade for a gin bottle lamp or table lamp. On shades of 20cm diameter the white fleck stripe will run vertically around the shade but in larger shades this stripe will run horizontally this is due to the limited width of the Harris Tweed. This lampshade is available in the following (approximate) shapes & sizes: Drum 20cms (8") diameter x 18cms height 25cms (10") diameter x 20cms height 30cms (12") diameter x 21cms height Oval 20cms at widest x 13cm at narrowest x 20cms height 30cms at widest x 22cm at narrowest x 21cms height The height of your lampshade can be customised to suit your preference & larger sizes to suit floor lamps or standard lamps may also be available, please contact me. Harris Tweed is, of course, the iconic brand of tweed that is only made on the island of Harris lying off the west coast of Scotland in the Outer Hebrides & is a very popular choice for teaming with an empty Gin bottle & Bottle Lamp Adaptor to make a complete Gin Bottle Lamp. The availability of tweeds fluctuates & I have different tweeds in stock at different times but if there is something in particular that you'd like I will do my utmost to obtain it for you. This Harris Tweed lampshade is carefully handmade in my workshop in Inverness, Scotland. The lampshade is a drum shape with a rolled edge & white heat resistant lining. It comes complete with Harris Tweed authentication label sewn on to the front & a Lucy Wagtail branded button on the back. This listing is for the handmade Harris Tweed lampshade only.
