A very popular choice for teaming with an empty Gin bottle & Bottle Lamp Adaptor to make a complete Gin Bottle Lamp. This plain violet/mauve twill design makes a beautifully subtle side lamp, ceiling light, floor lamp or gin bottle lamp. This lampshade can be purchased as a complete lamp or with a bottle lamp adaptor if you already have an empty bottle. Shown are the 25cm diameter x 20 cm height & a bespoke 50cm x 22cm height lampshade (large shades are available through my other listing). Harris Tweed is, of course, the iconic brand of tweed that is only made on the island of Harris lying off the west coast of Scotland in the Outer Hebrides & is a very popular choice for teaming with an empty Gin bottle & Bottle Lamp Adaptor to make a complete Gin Bottle Lamp. The availability of tweeds fluctuates & I have different tweeds in stock at different times but if there is something in particular that you'd like I will do my utmost to obtain it for you. The lampshade is a drum shape with a rolled edge & comes complete with Harris Tweed authentication label affixed to the front. The light fittings available are 40mm/28mm (a size popular in EU & UK) or a 1/2" washer fitting or spider fitting (a popular fitting in American lamps). Please note the 1/2" washer fitting is only available in the 20cm or 30cm diameter - please send a message when you place your order if you require this type of fitting.
