This tartan Harris Tweed incorporates blue, purple, turquoise, green & a darker denim blue in it's design with green, red, orange & blue overchecks. This tartan lampshade would make a strikingly beautiful side lamp, ceiling light or gin bottle lamp. This lampshade can be purchased with a bottle lamp adaptor if you already have an empty bottle & would like to create your own gin bottle lamp or give as a gift!. Harris Tweed is, of course, the iconic brand of tweed that is only made on the island of Harris lying off the west coast of Scotland in the Outer Hebrides & is a very popular choice for teaming with an empty Gin bottle & Bottle Lamp Adaptor to make a complete Gin Bottle Lamp. The availability of tweeds fluctuates & I have different tweeds in stock at different times but if there is something in particular that you'd like I will do my utmost to obtain it for you. This Harris Tweed lampshade is carefully handmade in the Lucy Wagtail workshop in Inverness. The lampshade is available in a drum or oval shape with a rolled edge & comes complete with Harris Tweed authentication label sewn on to the front & an exclusive Lucy Wagtail button on the back. This lampshade is available in the following (approximate) sizes: Drum 20cms (8") diameter x 18cms height 25cms (10")diameter x 20cms height 30cms (12") diameter x 21cms height Oval 20cms at widest, 13cms at narrowest & 18cms height 30cms at widest, 22cms at narrowest & 21cms height The height of your lampshade can be customised to suit your preference & larger sizes to suit floor lamps or standard lamps may also be available, please check my listing for large shades for ceilings or floor lamps.
