This very pretty shade of kingfisher blue compliments the soft violet colour which makes up the tartan check in this lovely Harris Tweed. This tweed also has a pink, orange & green overcheck to compliment the main colours of the tweed. The lampshade can be made for either table lamp, pendant or ceiling light & comes complete with authenticity label sewn either to the front, centre or beside the side seam together with our own Lucy Wagtail wooden button. Please note that the pattern placement on your finished lampshade may vary from that shown in the picture but will always be as beautiful! If two lampshades are ordered at the same time, we always try to match the pattern to make a pair. This handmade lampshade would make a stunning addition to any Scottish decor or country themed decor as well as looking great on a gin bottle lamp Adaptors are available to upcycled your bottle into a lamp. These are available separately. This Harris Tweed lampshade is carefully handmade by us in our Lucy Wagtail workshop in Inverness. The oval lampshade is available in the following (approximate) size: 30cms diameter at widest x 22cm at narrowest x 21cms height. Other sizes are available & this shade is also available in a drum shape through our other listing. Harris Tweed is, of course, the iconic brand of tweed that is only made on the island of Harris lying off the west coast of Scotland in the Outer Hebrides & is a very popular choice for teaming with an empty Gin bottle & Bottle Lamp Adaptor to make a complete Gin Bottle Lamp.
