Handmade pottery plate for a child with hand illustrated girl with ginger copper hair. This small plate was hand thrown on my wheel in white clay which gives a creamy glow when fired with clear glaze. Once bisque fired it was painted with a little girl's face & red hair with rosy cheeks using underglaze paints. It was clear glazed with food safe lead free glaze & fired to earthenware. There is my potters stamp to the underside. Diameter 17.5 cm This listing is for one plate but we can make a bespoke plate for baby, girl, boy, mum, dad, grandma & granddad! The hair colour could be blonde, black, red, brown, grey or any other colour. A name can be added or the baby plate could be a unique christening or new baby gift with date of birth & or weight also added. Please message us if something special is required. For personalised plates there is an extra charge of 3.50 & due to making, drying, firing, painting, glazing & 2nd firing there would be up to 6 weeks wait. The plate is dishwasher & microwave safe but hand-washing is recommended. We all have a favourite plate or cup & I was inspired to make a set of plates for each member of the family.
