Vintage Telephone Table & Seat This lovely & unusual 1960s telephone bench has an elegant curved back covered in teak veneer with beautiful grain, & tapered legs in solid teak. The original black vinyl seat is curved & padded. The bench also has a small cupboard with a solid teak knob, & table top. Originally designed for the hallway as a comfortable place to take telephone calls, this stylish piece now makes an attractive occasional seat & table, or could be used in a bedroom as a combined bedside table & chair. The item is in very good, vintage condition. It has been cleaned, oiled & finished with a protective wax. There are minor marks to the wood; the vinyl has no scratches, tears or holes.
