For years, the pounding surf along the Maine coast has shaped each rock into these beautiful heart forms - each its own work of art. The original flat-lay design was about 3 feet long when I climbed a ladder & photographed it outdoors beneath diffused sunlight. The effect of this light brings out the natural beauty in each heart rock & adds a three-dimensional, realistic character to the art.
