Beautiful Aseda Glasbruk blue Swedish Glass Jack in the Pulpit Vase/controlled bubble/small vase. Very attractive & striking. Good weight to the vase, as you would expect from Aseda Glasbruk. Very lovely indeed! Approx 16.5cm tall Approx 6cm at the top of the vase Approx 5.5 cm at the base Very good vintage condition indeed. There is a small 'nibble' on the base (see picture 8), but it does not distract & it is on the base - so not seen when standing. It is vintage, so some aging is to be expected, but this is really in very good condition for its age. This has obviously been a very cared for piece. There are some bubbles in the blue of the glass, but this is normal as it is handblown glass, & to be expected - this is what makes these vases so charming! seda Glasbruk was a Swedish glass factory that operated in seda, Kronoberg County, between 1947 & 1977. It was incorporated in 1975 into the Royal Krona group, which went into liquidation in 1977. seda Glasbruk's chief designer was Bo Borgstrom, who graduated from Stockholm's Swedish School of Arts & Crafts in 1951.
