These strawberry mugs are made to order & are created with lots of love . I hand make all of my pottery in a little studio in my house with either a slab building technique or my pottery wheel. Each vessel is hand formed in my hands, making each one unique from the other I think that this is the beauty of handmade pottery, being able to hold something in your hands that someone else made you in a space where they were fully in tune with themselves & this piece. When I create I go into a space where I lose track of time, & it is just me & the piece I am working on. Anyways, I will stop blabbering on about my love of pottery & tell you how these strawberry mugs are created. I form the mug on the pottery wheel & then trim, add my logo onto the bottom, & attach a handle onto the body of the mug once it has reached a leather hard phase. After the mug has completely dried I bisque fire it before sanding & hand painting the mug. After the mug has been hand painted I allow it to dry before glaze firing it. Once the mug has been glaze fired I ship it out to its new home Since the strawberry cups are made to order it takes me approximately 3-4 weeks to create for you before shipping out your handmade cup. These cups are dishwasher & microwave safe however, for longevity I do recommend that they are hand washed. Thank you so much for supporting my small business With gratitude, Bri strawberry Mug
