Natural Tumbled Botticino Itallian Marble Tiles are individually hand crafted with a unique process creating a beautiful, functional piece of art. The natural qualities of the marble tile are apparent & inherited in the image transfer, adding interest, depth & variety to these tiles. Veining, chipping & some distress is normal & adds to the character of each piece. No two will ever be exactly alike. These have an old world feel to them & look like they have been perfectly aged by time even though they are new. The hand printing technique used is a process that I have perfected that gives an aged feel to the print & leaves the natural stone bare in the areas there is no printing. This allows the pores of the stone to wick away some moisture from a glass, if left unsealed. Tiles can be sealed to protect the design & the stone from staining. If selecting a trivet from a set that has multiple designs, please specify in the checkout notes which pattern you would like for the Trivet. Tiles have cork added to the back to protect your furniture. Clean gently with a damp cloth. Purchase coasters with or without a coaster holder. in notes at checkout specify color (weathered black or wheathered white). If no color is specified black will be sent.
