For the large size candlesticks, described in this listing, I source unusually large antique dinner forks from continental Europe. European continental flatware manufacturers used to create larger dinner pieces than the standard American sizes. The material composition is antique European coin silver. The term 'coin silver' describes antique silver standards, very similar to sterling, from different parts of the world. The candlestick holders measure approximately 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) in height.
