Hand Beaded Lamp Shade: Ribbon Wrapped Frame with Chain & Beaded Strands, Featuring Vintage, Faceted Glass, & Iridescent Beads. I want to create small moments of beauty & artas simple as a pillow to throw on the sofa, a bookmark to hold your place, a silly but functional pincushion or whimsical dog costume! Carefully designed & stitched, these textile pieces are created in my home studiohandcrafted with care, one at a timeand each one is one of a kind! I see a little something unique each time I lookI hope you will too. This is a labor of love, a strand beaded shade, featuring an amazing array of different beadsfrom vintage iridescentto faceted, smoked, & frosted glass. From gold filled fluted, & elongated bugle beadsto fun & colorful smoked glass & spacers. Silver colored chain is used to accent & soften the bead strands. The shade frame is gently tapered, at 5 in diameter at the top, & 8 at the base. This shade fits onto a standard light base rather than on a harpthe bulb screws in afterand low wattage recommended. The light coming thru the beads is spectacular & sparkly! The pictures really don't do justice to the beauty of the whole. (I used a vintage/antique glass candlestick lamp for the display, which is 15.5 tall to where the base of the bulb would screw in.)
