This round extendable table is made of solid oak. The 48 x 48 size we photographed is perfect for 4 people. With the 2 - 18 leaves in place, you can seat 8. Wood: This table top is just over 1 thick & has been made with locally sourced oak. It features a Seymour edge. You can add one or both of the leaves here. With center extension tables, the grain always runs across the table. It gives the wood a matte finish. We like this finish because it is durable having been originally designed for floors & is food safe.
