Description
Handmade in Germany! This handmade plate was made by hand in collaboration with a potter. No casting molds or punches are used, but each piece is individually turned on the potter's wheel. The entire process, from the design, to the preparation of the clay, the turning on the potter's wheel, the turning & the final shaping, take place here. After the pieces are formed, they dry & are fired in my own oven with green electricity. Then they are glazed & fired again. Clay & glazes are sourced in the Westerwald. The whole process takes about 3 weeks. Each piece is individual & is made with great attention to detail. The diameter of the plate is 26 cm. These are sample shots.
