Pottery colander berry bowl wheel thrown & glazed in vanilla cream. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Etsy. This bowl is 7.4 inches (19 cm) in diameter & 4.1 inches (10.5 cm) in height. This berry bowl colander was handmade from white Devonshire stoneware clay. It's ideal for washing fruits in & the satin cream glaze would contrast well with the bright reds of strawberries in summer. The piece was turned & finished when leather hard, each of the holes being cut & finished individually by hand. The holes have been cut into a triangle pattern inside the base & around the edge of the bowl. You can still see soft throwing rings where my hands have drawn the pot upwards & a green glaze decorates the inside & outside. This piece can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
