What a lovely little pitcher this is, dating from around the mid 1900s. It is handmade & hand-painted with thick brown & dark yellow stripes. The horizontal stripes emphasize the barrel shape of the jug, recalling the hoops on wine or whisky barrels. Plain yellow glaze inside. Height 13.5cms (5.5 inches). It is stamped 'terre feu' on the base. Excellent vintage condition. A one-of-a-kind piece that is perfect for a rustic or French farmhouse interior. I am happy to combine postage wherever possible.
