Description
Beautiful & elegant Italian ceramic lamp from 1950's or early 1960's. The body of this hand-made lamp is alike flattened rugby ball in shape & has a colourful stylized woman portrait on one side & two freehand circles on the other. The lamp is decorated with scraffito outlining & enamel glazes that is characteristic for Italian artisan pottery of that era. The base is marked with Sesto di Fiamma, Hand painted Italy & numbered 2489. The lamp is in very good condition, with minor traces og use. It is fitted with a European two-pin plug, & takes a standard-sized screw fitting bulb (not included). Height: 25 cm / 9.8 inches Height with bulb holder: Width: 13 cm / 5.2 inches Depth: 9 cm / 3.5 inches The shade on the last photo is not included.
