Scandinavian, elegant & understated design was at the heart of the Mid Century Modern ethos, & this nest of three tables typifies that philosophy. Eclectic homes are always one of a kind & impossible to replicate, so if you are seeking the remarkable – complete your home puzzle by choosing this set of nesting tables. Whilst no maker’s stamp, they are similar in style to another set we have in stock so are guessing they where also manufactured in Denmark in the furniture factory (Moblerfabrikken) TOFTEN. This nest has a fabulous tiled top, making it a practical drinks surface. The tiles are all in good condition apart from a few scratches ( please see photos, we try to capture any damage visible so there are no surprises! ). These tables are beautifully made, are solid & sturdy & in good original vintage condition, with lovely tone & grain, sturdy legs with no wobbles, breaks or repairs. Fabulously crafted with a solid teak frame, topped with beautifully decorative tiles, these tables are a rare find. Having survived over 50 years of use, this set has been degreased & re oiled & is now ready to star in a new, mid century eclectic home. Used separately, they give you a wide range of possibilities around the modern home. The lower tables slot into rails from the tables above so that they stay together if moved. Versatile, slim & streamlined, they would be especially great for small, modern, spaces. Measurements Graduating in size, the largest measures 55cm x 40cm, height 48cm with the other two being proportionately smaller.
