36 inches Round Blue, multi colors This 36 inch round rag rug is crocheted with new cotton fabric & not upcycled from previously used fabrics. We mostly use new fabric as it will hold up longer after years of washing. Looking for a unique Mother's Day gift? Or a special birthday present? A hand crocheted rag rug that will last many, many years & hold up beautifully would be ideal. Each rug is one-of-a-kind & can be machine washed in cold water & air dried. These rugs are very durable & tightly crocheted. Even after many years of use & washings, they will still look great. No matter which room you want to put them in, they add beauty & character & last many years. We have some in our home made in the 1980's & still performing well. These rugs are crocheted by a fourth generation rug maker continuing his family tradition. His great grandmother taught his grandmother how to make them. She in turn taught her daughter, his mother. When his mother was getting on in years, she was no longer able to make them. Not wanting the tradition to die out, he had her teach him to crochet the rugs.
