Autumn Flowers - Linocut Print by Lena Sophia / Handmade linocut card / Inspired by autumn walks & dried flowers / Limited edition : 10 numbered & signed copies / Size : 23 cm x 17 cm / Paper : Natural white, 130 g/m / Sold without the frame, decoration About the process: Linocut is a handcrafted printing technique in which a motif is carved into a linoleum surface. This creates a kind of stamp which is applied to paper using one or more layers of paint. The more colors are used, the more complex the creation of the template becomes. The fact that a comparatively complex process can result in such minimalistic prints is one of the reasons I fell in love with this technique. A print always contains small irregularities, which is not a quality defect. It's the characteristic of a handmade creation which makes the result even more authentic. Transport & Packaging Every print is wrapped by myself carefully so there won't be any causes during transport.
