A set of six (6) vintage French coin drink coasters made in France in the 1960s. Each drink / bottle rest has been made from silver tone metal in the shape of a 1924 Lindauer coin of 25 centimes. Each one has the motto of the French Republic motto: Libert , Egalit , fraternit (freedom, equality, brotherhood) & the date 1924. The undersides of the coasters are lined with green sueded paper to protect the table top surface. The set comes with a small wooden stand & its original presentation box. They will add a stylish French touch to your bar decor or will make a great gift for a numismatist. DIMENSIONS: 3,14 in diameter (8 cm). CONDITION: The set of six drink coasters is in very good condition with light signs of age & wear including patina to the metal. The presentation box is worn in places & has surface marks.
