Please contact before purchase if you would like to collect or for me to deliver, so that I can alter the delivery charge. This is a very attractive terracotta Rhubarb Forcer. in excellent condition. Used originally in the kitchen garden of a large house to bring rhubarb on. Still usable for this purpose or as an architectural piece in the home or garden. Made in the most beautiful thick textured terracotta, with a thick, wide border to the base tapering in shape to a narrower lip. The terracotta lid has a large tactile knob with a chip to the knob & to the edge of the lid. It's amazing that it has survived as very few do. A beautiful piece for decoration. It would look wonderful amongst plants in a garden or in the corner of a room. Please see photos for detail.
