A genuine vintage 1960's classic.. Rarity 89/100 Condition 92/100 Made by famous Ilkra of West Germany. Glossy rich greys, over abstract designs. Glossy chocolate black inside. Marked on the base with the correct period Ilkra model numbers. 20 cm or 7.9 inches tall. So a nice larger vase. Heavy quality. Released in 1963, this is part of Ilkra's Panorama series, supposedly 5 or 6 designs representing the continents. This one is the Asia vase, with abstract 3D designs in 3 panels depicting life in Asia. Look at the design & you will see birds, temples, rickshaws & more. I have also seen America vases, Africa bowls, & a South American lidded jar, but the other designs have so far been elusive. Check the photos & my condition estimate above. Use the zoom. Just stunning..! The possibility of the usual factory variations in the glazes... Possible signs of use or age... But otherwise... in good to even very good collector's condition.
