Description
West German pottery fat lava vase. A genuine vintage 1960's classic.. Rarity 86/100 Condition 92/100 Made by famous Ilkra of West Germany. Glossy burnt orange, with dark chocolate highlights over abstract butterfly designs. Glossy chocolate brown inside. Marked on the base with the correct period Ilkra model numbers. 25 cm or 9.85 inches tall. So a nice larger vase. Heavy quality. Check the photos & my condition estimate above. Use the zoom. Just stunning..and much better than the photos suggest! The possibility of the usual factory variations in the glazes... Possible signs of use or age... But otherwise... in good to even very good collector's condition. Any white marks in the photos are reflection. All of our vases can be filled with water & used for floral displays if desired..
