Danish pottery vase. A genuine vintage 1970's classic.. Rarity 89/100 Condition 92/100 Made by Royal Copenhagen of Denmark. Glossy white, with abstract fish & bird designs in caramel to dark chocolate hues. These designs are on all four sides. Glossy white inside. Marked on the base with the correct period Royal Copenhagen model numbers. These numbers do not reflect the number made. The top number is for this particular glaze. The bottom number is the vase or item shape number. It also has the original retail shop sticker. Four rubber feet can be removed easily. 15 x 18 x 5 cm or 5.8 x 7 x 2 inches. A medium sized vase. Designed by Nils Thorsson, & has his stylized logo on the base. Also his personal signature, which means he actually made this particular vase. Date stamp coded for manufacture between 1969 & 1974. (the dash under the G in COPENHAGEN) A classic design.. heavy, well made quality. Very, very nice glaze, as you can see. As usual with these vases, the possibility of some factory glazing variations, or signs of use... Check all the photos & my condition estimate above. Use the zoom. Otherwise, it's completely stunning, and.. in good to even very good collector's condition. Any white marks in the photos are reflection.
