The retro 50s Christmas Smock is based loosely on a vintage 1950s apron pattern that was in my great-grandmother's collection altered to fit modern size ranges. This version is made with dramatic large poinsettias on a black background. This comfortable apron is so easy to wear! Made to gently slip over your head & then tie at the waist. Wide straps go over the shoulders & attach to the apron in the back at the waistline. (Shoulder straps are shaped & joined together across the upper part of the back, which is why it is sometimes called an H back style of apron.) Apron rests totally on the shoulders, placing no strain on the neck making it super comfortable to wear all day. Curved lower edges of the front panel & sides add interesting scallop detail accented by coordinating bias trim on every seam line. Makes a great gift for the cooking/baking enthusiast on your gift list or for a very special treat for yourself! Great care & attention are paid when I make these aprons there are no exposed seams or raw edges showing on my aprons! All seams are neatly enclosed & topstitched for a sturdier & longer-lasting finished product. I do not keep an inventory. This apron is not sewn until after order confirmation. The apron in the photos is the original sample sewn to take listing photos & is ready to ship. Other sizes/options are made to order. KANGAROO pocket (This goes across the front of the apron.
