Ober Print: Sud-Est Publicit, Lyon (France) Condition: normal original signs of folding, distributed this way by the printing company. Slight wrinkles in the edges, one tear in the top, approx 9cm - but will press together once framed. The advertising text says: ' Very comfortable - Adolphe Lafont Lyon - Quality in workclothing' (denim overall) Founded in 1884, Adolphe Lafont is a clothing company based in Lyon, France. in order to make clothes more suited to working men, Adolphe Lafont designed a new piece of clothing: denim overalls. Levi Strauss was inspired by this design & went on to develop & commercialise the american blue jean. This would be a great piece of wall art for an road or driving themed room, or as an artistic safety notice, well before the days of health & safety. Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, & edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
