Vintage Eternity Geranium Flower Box Poster, Eternit Caissettes a Fleurs brand, pelagonium, 1959 advertising poster, wall art retro 1950s A poster showing a window box of geraniums, a 1959 Swiss advertising poster promoting Eternit (literally translates to Eternal), promoting the purchase of window flower boxes made of Eternit fiber cement, & featuring an image of a woman looking at many red flowers. Eternit was originally made with asbestos but today it is made with safe material such as cellulose. Dimensions: 50.4 in x 35.8 in (128 cm x 91 cm) Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, & edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm. This poster has been stored folded, so there are crease marks which shouldn't be very noticeable under pressed glass.
