Original Vintage Macmillan Pond Insects Nature Educational Poster Dragonfly Water Beetle May Fly Gnat Caddis Fly print wall art 1950s This is a vintage Macmillan beetle poster of the Stages in the life history of some lowly dwellers of the garden - Dragonfly, Water Beetle, May Fly, Gnat, Caddis Fly & Harlequin Fly. Dimensions: 17 in x 21 in (43 cm x 53 cm) It is one of the portfolio of posters designed for teaching in the classroom during the 1950s. Because of the age of these posters, & their use in the classroom, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, & edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years in the classroom are part of the vintage charm.
