1989 Carlos Arroyo Poster, Man with Cat, amazing condition, Pop Art, gallery exhibition wall art 1980s This Carlos Arroyo exhibition poster is from the Berggruen & Cue in Paris for the 1989 exhibition featuring Man with Cat. Dimensions: 25.2 in x 12.2 in (64 cm x 31 cm) Eduardo Arroyo was a Spanish painter & graphic artist. He was also active as an author & set designer. Stylistically, Arroyo's mostly ironic, colorful works are at the crossroads between the trends of nouvelle figuration or figuration narrative & pop art. A characteristic of his representations is the general absence of spatial depth & the flattening of perspective. This is an unused item has been stored flat in unopened stack of poster which were never used for the promotion of the exhibition, so are in amazing condition. What is special about exhibition & gallery posters is that they are an affordable way of getting good, unique art on the walls, as although it is not an artists original, neither is it something that has been mass reproduced. Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, & edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the charm. These posters are sent as unframed.
