Dimensions: 30.3 in x 20.1 in (77 cm x 51 cm) Note: some of these posters have a sticky label on them with a number as they were from a private collection. The Victoria & Albert Museum (often abbreviated as the V&A) in London is the world's largest museum of applied arts, decorative arts, & design, housing a permanent collection of over 2.27 million objects, founded in 1852 & named after Queen Victoria & Prince Albert. The V&A is located in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, in an area known as Albertopolis because of its association with Prince Albert, the Albert Memorial & the major cultural institutions with which he was associated. These include the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, the Royal Albert Hall & Imperial College London. What is special about exhibition & gallery posters is that they are an affordable way of getting good, unique art on the walls, as although it is not an artists original, neither is it something that has been mass reproduced. Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, & edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the charm. These posters are sent as unframed. They are delivered in a cardboard-backed envelope for protection. They have been stored folded.
