It corresponds to the constellation Leo & comes after Cancer & before Virgo. The traditional Western zodiac associates Leo with the period between about July 23 & August 23, & the sign spans the 120th to 150th degree of celestial longitude. Leo is associated with fire, accompanied by Aries & Sagittarius, & its modality is fixed. The constellation Leo is associated with the mythological Nemean lion. The lion is a very important & prominent symbol in Greek mythology. Johfra Bosschart was a Dutch modern artist. Johfra described his works as Surrealism based on studies of psychology, religion, the Bible, astrology, antiquity, magic, witchcraft, mythology & occultism. Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained.
