My handmade ceramic table lamp, the Bubble Lamp, is modern in style, a little bit cottage chic & totally unique! With thin white stripe detailing for added texture & character, this pottery lamp has a primitive elegance. I've created the lamp base using the coil & pinch technique which gives the glossy surface a soft, dimpled texture. Each thin white stripe is a thicker glaze, squeezed on by hand. This adds a little more texture & ensures that each piece is unique. Because it has been shaped by hand, it is perfectly imperfect, possessing the charm & character that a machine made object will never have. With a white linen drum shade the Bubble lamp has clean, contemporary look. Each Bubble lamp is wired using white cloth covered cord & high quality, UL approved hardware. You have a choice of finials: Matching ceramic finial or Brushed nickel finial I am happy to do custom color orders. Typically, I suggest the colors that you see on my site. If you don't see a color you'd like, just ask. If a color is sold out, we can do it as a custom order. Completion of a custom order runs 3 to 4 weeks. The Bubble lamp is approximately 19 tall x 10 wide including the shade. It's small size makes it suitable as a bedside table lamp or as accent lighting. The base is approx. 6 wide x 7.5 tall.
