A one off pair of mid century modern hand crafted Walnut & patterned Ply bedside tables, designed & expertly hand made in East Sussex. The reclaimed American black walnut wood that gives the pieces their striking dark colour was destined for firewood, but was salvaged & used as a starting point for this custom design. Ply wood was then used - sliced & reassembled end on - to create the intricate, pale patterned draw fronts that compliment the darker sides & give the pieces their distinctive & unique personality. The drawer front design is mirrored on the second table, giving the set a unified feel, & the look is completed with American white oak legs, drawer & handles.
