The Ocean Waves mug combines the beauty of the sky while it is cast over the reflective quality of waves. To create these characteristics, the mug is first thrown on the potter's wheel, then it is trimmed, handled, & carved before its first firing. I then use food safe glazes to bring out the textured surface of the waves before it is fired a final time. Dimensions: Holds 16 fluid ounces. Diameter of Rim: 3.5, Height: 3.5 Knollwood Pottery uses glazes that are lead free, food safe, & microwave & dishwasher safe (although handwashing increases the longevity of the piece). Please Remember: The beauty of handmade pottery is that each piece is individually & uniquely crafted by me! Since they are individually crafted, there may be slight variations in size, color, & design. Although I try my very best to minimize surface design imperfections, there may be small imperfections...but that's how you know it is handmade!! If there are any imperfections on a piece, they will be noted in the description & not effect the functionality & durability of the work.
