Handmade Floor Vase or Urn Made from Reeds Vintage to the 1980's according to the owner. Thin reeds are sewn together vertically & bound at the top by a wood cylinder. The base is a heavy cardboard or light wood, I can't tell which & the reeds are held in place by a thin strip of maybe a rattan at the bottom. The piece measures approximately 19 inches tall The mouth has about a 4.5 inch opening The base has about a 10 inch diameter & the widest section of urn measures about 38 inches around Lovely home decor accent in lovely vintage condition, there are irregularities due to its handmade nature, for example, the wood mouth is not exactly straight on close examination. I have three available, all exactly alike, except the natural variations in handmade items. The owner used all three as a table base on which she placed a circular glass top.
