This pair of Mid-Century dinner plates are Archetypal of the late 1950s early 60s. The plates are marked to the base Made in England, & do not have a makers mark, but very much in the Alfred Meakin style of that era. They have the very typical design of the Mid-Century a plain inner plate with decoration around the outer edge. These plates have a very Autumnal feel with a Brown & Red leaf design interspersed with oblong tree /bark like patterns. The pair of plates are in good vintage condition & would suit most Kitchen decor, they would obviously be perfect for fans of Mid-Century / Retro look. The plates have a 10 inch diameter & weigh a solid 500 grams each.
