This is a nice hand carved wooden treenware ladle carved from Cherry wood, Maple wood, or Walnut wood. We are changing our processing time temporarily because we have to take a trip. We will be setting it at two to three weeks. You can purchase things but they will not ship until we get back. We would rather do this than put our shop on vacation. It is 13 3/4 inches long & 3 inches wide with a deep bowl. Serve up your soup with this handmade ladle. Cherry wood darkens to a really rich red color with use. Walnut is dark brown to start with & will darken a little in the bowl, especially at the tip. Maple is light blond to golden color & takes on a rich golden honey patina over time. The handle is curved & set at an angle to the bowl. Even though it is curved, it will work for both left & right-handed persons. This spoon shown is an example & yours will vary a little in grain pattern & color but will be of equal quality. I'll be adding photos of the Maple & Walnut wood soon. Finished with beeswax & mineral oil. Care is easy. Just wash with hot soapy water & towel dry. Don't put it in the dishwasher & don't leave it soaking for long periods in the sink. Apply some mineral oil or our oil & beeswax mixture every two weeks. With proper care, your spoon will look & feel good for many years.
